Max & Ruby bring to life a wonderful tradition this holiday season as they take to the stage their most magical performance yet! Inspired by one of the greatest musical scores ever composed - Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker Suite - the beloved bunny siblings star in Koba Entertainment's brand new musical production Max & Ruby in the Nutcracker Suite.

It's Christmas Eve, and Ruby is busy trimming the tree, while Max is chasing the delicious scent of Grandma's freshly baked gingerbread cookies! A knock at the door reveals a huge parcel from their Great Uncle Drosselmeyer. As the package is unwrapped, Ruby realizes that each new toy is from the story of the Nutcracker Ballet, including a Nutcracker doll!

As grandma reads the story of the Nutcracker, their imaginations whisk them away to a magical land where they become characters in the beloved ballet. Dancing, singing and delicious treats follow, as the bunny pair experiences the wonder and excitement of the classic Nutcracker story. Whether it was the sweets, or their lively imaginations, the bunny siblings head off to bed with visions of candy canes dancing in their heads!

Max & Ruby's adventure, guided by the classic notes of Tchaikovsky's masterpiece, is full of delectable dance and holiday magic perfect for the whole family.

What a fantastic treat! Lil J was extremely excited and couldn't stop talking about Max & Ruby before, during and after the show. I wasn't sure what to expect but I can honestly say that I was thoroughly impressed! The show started out with a few elves dancing and getting the audience engaged by singing the Max & Ruby "jingle". This sure got Lil J's eyes bright and put a huge smile on his face. He got up, kneeled on his chair and leaned forward for the rest of the show. Our favourite parts were watching the characters from the Nutcracker come to life in the form of beautiful dancers and ballerinas performing graceful routines right before our very eyes. I also loved how they had dances dedicated to an array of cultures. Lil J's favourite parts were, not surprisingly, any scene that featured Max & Ruby.

What a great show! My four year old loved it, thought the ballet dancers were amazing and didn’t want it to end. I enjoyed the high quality dancers - what a great way to expose your child to the arts. Would definitely recommend to a friend!

I spent the entire time watching my daughter watch the show and it brought me to tears a number of times. The joy in her eyes and the smile on her face as she watched in sheer amazement, the genuine enthusiasm, as this normally shy and reserved almost four year old sang, clapped, cheered and danced at the end of the show were absolutely thrilling for me to watch. So from the bottom of my heart I thank you and your entire team for the wonderful evening that I got to share with my little girl.

My kids know Max & Ruby from Treehouse TV and I was a little worried my 5 year old would think she's old for the show as she believes she’s outgrown “baby tv”. Once the show started I knew I didn’t need to worry – all the kids had their eyes glued to the stage, called out when asked anything from the characters and danced along in their seats. It was a cute production about a Bunny Birthday Party which included singing, dancing and played out much like an episode but in real life.

We heard the familiar Max & Ruby soundtrack and saw four happy performers tap dancing their way in the intro number. I can see why all the kiddies screamed in excitement – it was like the cartoon coming to life! The storyline behind the Max & Ruby musical is easy to follow for young children. The musical is filled with fun songs, a life size slug, space cadet, and spider, and of course, a surprise guest at the end! My daughter absolutely loved the musical. I’ve never seen her dance and sing along with a musical as much as she did for this one. Maybe it was because the pace was predictable and easy to follow. Word of advice: if they’re selling the CD at the musical, make sure you pick one up. It really did help to extend the experience for her. I also like the songs. They’re catchy and appropriate for young children. Now, my kid sings and dances to all the songs at home and does quite an impressive robot dance!

Our 4 year old loved it so much. She was in awe at how one of her favorite episodes came to life right in front of her eyes!!! If you have a child that watches Max and Ruby you need to take them to see them live!
